About Tara
Art is how I connect
Hi, I’m Tara Collins, arts educator, facilitator and consultant with a passion for helping people reconnect with their creativity (yes, even the ones who say, “I’m not artistic!”). I lead art-based workshops that bring joy, insight and a little magic into professional spaces without the pressure, performance or eye-rolls that usually come with “team-building.”
Teaching, Art & Human Connection.
For the past decade, I’ve worked in galleries, museums, nonprofits and public education, curating exhibitions, writing for an arts & culture paper and teaching countless workshops for adults and kids.
What lights me up the most is seeing someone walk in unsure and out with a piece of art they’re proud of. Watching people access joy, confidence or clarity through creativity? That’s why I do this work.

What I bring to your team event:
10+ years experience in arts education and public programming
Workshop leader for Monmouth Museum, Monmouth Arts and Parlor Gallery
Teaching style rooted in play, psychological safety and inclusion
Known for creating spaces where people feel safe, seen and recharged
I don’t believe in forced fun. I believe in experiences that feel good and do good.
Why it matters
In a world that’s fast, screen-heavy and increasingly automated, we need ways to reconnect. Art makes that possible. It’s human. It builds trust, boosts focus and creates space for new thinking.
And most of all, it reminds people:
You have something creative and real inside.

Let’s Make Something Together
